How we evaluate a request
We compare the published wording with the cited record, check scope and date, and seek additional primary evidence where needed. A disagreement in interpretation is documented separately from a demonstrable factual error.
Correction record
Substantive corrections appear on the affected page with the date, previous meaning and corrected meaning. Updates prompted by new evidence are labeled as updates. Typographic repairs that do not alter meaning may be made without a public note.
